The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Action in Dubai, in cooperation with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, launched, under the umbrella of the “Grass Al -Khair” initiative, the second version of the Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum competition for the Holy Quran for students of private schools in the Emirate of Dubai, after the great success and remarkable interaction witnessed in the first version last year. The annual competition, allocated for the academic year 2025-2026, aims to consolidate the status of the Holy Quran in the hearts of students. Ahmed Darwish Al -Muhairi, Director General of the Department, said: The Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum competition for the Holy Qur’an reflects the department’s firm commitment to the upbringing of a Quranic generation that is confident in its identity, firmly in its values, and adheres to the teachings of his true religion
