Dr. Sameh Al -Toni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Sohag, and Dr. Ahmed Al -Shatouri, head of the Tahta Center and City in Sohag, led a magnified catering campaign that resulted in the seizure of a sugar packing facility without a license, and the confiscation of about 30 tons of food sugar was seized for the purpose of selling it on the black market.

Ahmed Al -Shatouri stressed that the health and safety of citizens is a red line, which cannot be tolerated, noting that the campaign comes within the framework of the continued application of the law and follow -up of the quality and validity of food commodities, while intensifying coordination with all concerned authorities to ensure that no adulterated commodities are leaked to the markets.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply confirmed that all deterrent legal measures have been taken against violators, and many campaigns are being launched on the markets to control the violators.
This was within the framework of the efforts of Major General Dr. Abdel -Fattah Siraj, the governor of Sohag, and his keenness to ensure the health and safety of citizens and to fight all forms of commercial fraud, and in coordination with the Directorate of Supply in Sohag and the Tahta Supply Department and the Investigation of Supply.
