Today, Friday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the deputy of the Israeli ambassador to the country, David, one of Horlde, against the backdrop of the recent Israeli attack that targeted the State of Qatar, and the aggressive statements issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to an official statement, Reem Bint Ibrahim Al -Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, informed the Israeli diplomat, the UAE’s condemnation and strong condemnation of what it described as the blatant and cowardly Israeli attack against the sisterly State of Qatar, explaining that the attack is a flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, and a serious violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
It threatens security and stability in the region and the world
Minister Al -Hashemi stressed that such an irresponsible escalation threatens security and stability in the region and the world, noting that the security and stability of the State of Qatar is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council system.
She stressed that any attack on a Gulf state is considered an attack on joint Gulf security, pointing out that the continuation of the aggressive and provocative approach by Israel is undermining the chances of achieving stability, pushing the region towards extremely dangerous paths, and devotes a reality that cannot be accepted or tolerated.
