Abu Dhabi: Abdul Rahman Saeed, the Emirates Legal Fatwa Council held an intense workshop on “preparing policies and regulations related to issuing public and private fatwas” headed by the scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayh, the head of the council, and the presence of Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Vice -President of the Council, and members of the Council. During the workshop, the participants discussed a number of policies and organizational regulations that the Council is working on developing in implementation of Federal Law No. 3 of 2024 AD regarding the Emirates Sharia Fatwa Council, which made the council the only authority concerned with issuing public fatwas in the country and the organizing authority of the private fatwa.
