Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Governor of the Lake, visited today, Thursday, the drinking water station in the Badr Center, to determine the progress of work and follow up on the performance rates at the station, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at upgrading the drinking water sector and achieving sustainable development in the various cities and centers of the province.

The station is located on an area of 12 acres, and it includes 10 filters and 4 production capacity with a production capacity of 2000 mg, in addition to a tank with a capacity of 8000 mg, where the station contributes to pumping about 800 liters per second to feed the center and city of Badr and its dependencies.
The governor stressed the importance of adhering to the highest quality standards in operating and maintaining the station, ensuring the continuity of providing a distinguished and safe service to citizens, stressing that the drinking water sector has a maximum priority within the state’s plan to support infrastructure and improve the standard of living.
Earlier today, Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Governor of the lake, made an expanded field tour of a number of schools affiliated with the Editorial Administration in the Badr Center and City, as part of the governorate’s preparations for the start of the new academic year 2025-2026, and in order to provide a safe and equipped educational environment for students.
Dr. Jacqueline Azar started her tour by inspecting Salah El -Din Language Official School, which was held on an area of 2637 square meters, at a total cost of 24 million pounds, and it is scheduled to open in conjunction with the National Day of the Governorate.
During the tour, the governor praised the level of construction and equipment inside the school, and met with a number of citizens and listened to their demands and proposals.
The governor continued her tour by inspecting the Abdul Majeed Al -Morsi Primary School, which includes 27 classes for kindergarten and the primary stage, accommodating about 1050 students, in a move aimed at reducing densities and achieving better educational quality.
The governor also visited the Talaat Al -Issawi School, which is held on an area of 370 meters, and includes 6 classes, along with a library, laboratory, industrial field, toilets, and watch room, and accommodates about 90 students.
