Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, held a meeting with the Italian Business Council in the UAE with the aim of discussing strategies to enhance trade and investment flows by empowering the private sector in the two countries. The meeting confirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its economic ties with Italy, which is a key partner for the UAE within the European Union. Al -Zyoudi stressed during the meeting the importance of economic relations between the UAE and Italy, and pointed to the remarkable growth in trade between the two countries, as the value of non -oil bilateral trade amounted to 14 billion dollars in 2024, an increase of 19.7% over 2023 and 22.2% over 2022.
