Dr. Essam El Din Sadiq Farhat, President of Minya University, issued a decision appointing Dr. Doaa Abdel Mutaal Ahmed as head of the Tourism Guidance Department at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for the academic year 2025-2026.

For her part, Dr. Samar Mustafa Kamal, Dean of the College, stressed that the decision comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to push distinguished academic competencies to assume leadership responsibilities, in a way that contributes to the development of the educational and research process within the college.
It is scheduled that Dr. Doaa Abdel Mutaal will develop an integrated action plan to develop the department and enhance its academic and research role in line with the requirements of the tourism labor market.
In another context, Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Mohamed Gibran, signed a cooperation protocol between the two ministries, regarding the conditions and controls of licensing for hotel accommodations, today, Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in the new administrative capital, within the framework of the keenness of the ministries of tourism and antiquities and work to achieve occupational safety and health requirements to provide a safe environment in hotel residence units.
The signing of the protocol comes in light of the cooperation of the two ministries to provide the greatest protection for workers and tourists residing in the hotel accommodation units.
