Sheikh d. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Fateis Al -Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, with an inspection tour of a number of mosques located in the pearl path, which is currently witnessing maintenance work, to see the work progress and ensure the implementation of the works according to the approved plans and accurate technical and engineering specifications.
During the tour, he reviewed the various stages of maintenance, which includes internal and external dyeing and maintenance of basic facilities, as he listened to a detailed explanation and seeing engineering maps from engineers and supervisors about the progress of the work and time plan for each mosque, stressing the commitment to the highest quality and safety standards.
In this context, the President of the Sunni Endowments Council stressed the importance of these projects in preserving the heritage identity of historical mosques, noting that their maintenance comes within the council’s continuous strategy to ensure the sustainability of its religious, social and cultural role, while committing to coordination with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities to preserve the historical value of mosques.
He stressed that the council is keen to follow all stages of the project closely, and to provide all capabilities for its success, with thanks to all workers in maintenance sites for their efforts, stressing that the maintenance of mosques on the pearl path is a strategic priority that seeks to enhance the role of mosques as religious and heritage radiation centers in Bahraini society.
