This evening, a fire broke out inside one of the stores in the tourist village of Nawras in Port Said Governorate, and immediately the civil protection forces moved to the accident site to control the fire and prevent its extension to the surrounding areas.

Once the Civil Protection Operations Room received the communication, a team led by Brigadier Abdullah Saadeh, Director of the Civil Protection Department in Port Said, and 4 fire engines equipped with the latest equipment and advanced cars, were pushed, as the forces succeeded in besieging the flames before they were devoured by other areas of the tourist village.
The initial examination revealed that the fire broke out in a store that contains electrical tools and written tools, which contributed to the escalation of the tongues of fire and smoke extensively, which necessitated dealing with great caution to avoid any human losses or injuries between the people or firefighters participating in the operation.
The Civil Protection Forces succeeded in full control of the fire using modern equipment and the experiences of trained elements, and the cooling process was carried out to ensure that the fire does not ignite again, while the relevant agencies continue to investigate the causes of the outbreak of the fire and estimate the size of the material losses resulting from it.

Thanks to the speed of the firefighting forces’ response and vigilance, the fire was contained in record time, and its extension was prevented to the rest of the installations and buildings inside the tourist village of Nawras, amid praise from the people of the efforts of the civil protection men who dealt with the situation with high professionalism.
