The National Initiative to reduce the loss and waste of food “Naama” began yesterday, in cooperation with the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics and local statistical centers in various UAE, the stage of data collection within the study of the first foundation line to measure the loss and waste of food in the UAE. From September 8 to September, field teams will collect preliminary data by measuring waste in captivity by collecting, weighing and analyzing food waste, while companies and government agencies registered in the study will enter their data for loss and waste of food directly through the “Naama” platform for data.
