Sources revealed that the statue of the Queen of Strawberries in Al -Qassen in Ismailia, is made of gypsum, explaining that there is partial damage to the fruit and it is being used to repair it.

Earlier, a strange incident of its kind has sparked widespread controversy on social media after the strawberry theft was discovered from the hands of the famous Egyptian agriculture statue in the new Qassasin city of Ismailia, also known among the people as the “Queen of Strawberry”.
The statue, which mediates the rotation of the upper bridge in the city, was designed by the plastic artist Raed Jalal in commemoration of the role of women working in strawberry harvesting in Ismailia Governorate, but the disappearance of the fruits carried by the effects of a wave of sarcastic comments at the same time.
