Today, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority celebrates the 16th anniversary of the launch of the Dubai Metro, the project, which was not just a means of transportation, but rather turned into a civilized, architectural, engineering and economic success story that made the emirate a global model in managing the sustainable transport system.
