Dr. Hisham Abu Zaid, Deputy Governor of Luxor, visited this morning the injured of the passenger bus accident, which occurred on the eastern desert road, “Al -Mehwar”, reassuring the health status of them and receiving the necessary treatment within the Karnak International Hospital and the International Medical Complex of the Health Care.

The Deputy Governor reviewed with the treating doctors the medical reports of the injured, following the measures taken to ensure that they are similar to a speedy recovery.

Abu Zaid was keen during his conversation with the injured and their families, to alleviate the occurrence of the traumatic accident on them, stressing: “Take sure, we will do every need,” in a sign of providing all the medical services and the required support.

The Deputy Governor expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, stressing that the governorate is following around the clock all the developments to ensure the provision of the best possible care.
The background of the accident
The eastern desert road, “Al -Mehwar” in Luxor Governorate, had witnessed the accident of the coup of a bus heading to Cairo, which resulted in the death of 3 people, including two children, and the injury of 34 others with separate injuries. 20 ambulances were paid to the accident site, where the injured were transported to hospitals, while more than 15 cases were assisted at the accident site after they refused to transport.
