The graduation ceremony of Latifa Al -Droubi, the wife of Ahmed Al -Shara, leads the main search engines via the Internet, as Idlib University witnessed a special ceremony on Saturday evening on the occasion of the graduation of a new batch of students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, where Latifa Samir Al -Droubi, the wife of Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara, was kidnapped after obtaining her university degree in Arabic literature in a festive atmosphere in which professors, students and the families of the graduates participated.

Syrian President Ahmed Al -Sharaa participated in the graduation ceremony, where he congratulated his wife and colleagues from male and female students on their success, and stressed in his speech that education represents the basic pillar of the future of Syria, stressing that universities are the first incubator to prepare a conscious generation capable of facing challenges and building a society based on knowledge and science.

Latifa Al -Droubi delivered a speech in front of the attendees, in which she said: I stand today on a land that took hold, and I bloomed hope and germinated a flag and embraced thousands of life stories, as she appeared in a video circulating while wearing a graduation suit, before she received the graduation model from her husband, President Ahmed Al -Shara, who honored her and took a memorial photo with her on this occasion.
Information about Latifa Al -Droubi and her scientific career
Latifa Samir Al -Droubi came from the town of Al -Qaryatin in Homs Governorate, and she is the mother of three children, and holds a master’s degree in the Arabic language and literature, and the roots of her family go back to a long history in science and religion, where Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar Al -Droubi, one of the most prominent readers of the Qur’an in Syria who died in Jeddah in 2009.
The American newspaper Al -Monitor indicates that the Doubi family extends its roots to the Ottoman era, where Aladdin Al -Droubi held one of its ancestors as the ambassador of the Ottoman Empire, before he became the second prime minister of Syria in 1920, but he was assassinated only 26 days after he took over the position.
Idlib University called graduates this year the name of victory and liberation, in reference to the recent political change that the country witnessed and led to the end of the rule of former President Bashar al -Assad.
