Dr. Rania Al -Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, confirmed that cooperation between Egypt and the International Monetary Fund is not based on external dictates, stressing that all the programs that are agreed upon with the fund are 100%national programs, known as the Home Grown Programs, that is, homemade programs.

The minister stated in a press conference yesterday, Sunday, that the Egyptian government is the one that sets these programs and determines its priorities and obligations, then exposes them to the fund for their review, and on the basis of which the funds are disbursed, adding: All our national programs are implemented according to our priorities, and we are the ones who set their details and are committed to implementation.
Al -Mashat added that talking about separation from the fund or continuing to deal with it must be understood within the framework of a continuous link, which ensures the stability of the macroeconomic as a basic condition for attracting investments and enhancing confidence in the Egyptian economy.
She pointed out that the National Sardah for Economic Development came to set a comprehensive framework that combines the financial reform program and the real economy, through plans to manufacture and increase export, which contributes to generating new resources and filling the financing gaps.
The Minister concluded her statements: What distinguishes the Egyptian experience is the ability to formulate and implement these policies in an integrated manner, in a manner that creates a sustainable path for economic development, and places Egypt in an advanced position among emerging countries.
