The Attorney General, Dr. Ali bin Fadl Al -Buainain, participated in the fifth annual meeting of the Arab General Representatives Association, which was held in the Sultanate of Oman on September 2 and 3, 2025.
In his speech at the beginning of the meeting, the Public Prosecutor praised the close relations and fruitful and constructive cooperation between the public prosecution and public prosecution agencies, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation by exchanging experiences, and benefiting from the best experiences and the latest technologies to support the crime combating efforts, especially in light of the multiplicity of its forms, the development of its means and the expansion of its transcendent activity, the borders and their dire results on the elements and capabilities of countries.
While the Attorney General noted the importance of the meeting axes in enhancing cooperation between Arab public prosecutions and developing its technical and administrative capabilities, appreciating the coordination steps taken by the association during the past years, which were based on understandings that reflect the sincere desire to improve the technical and technical level of the prosecution.
In this regard, the Attorney General called for an increase in the association’s media content team’s tasks in spreading jurisprudence, judgments, judicial decisions and national and international legal research, by expanding cultural sources, especially in the social and economic fields, in a way that contributes to the development of the capabilities of members of the Arab prosecution in the performance of their mission, indicating that the more the members have a varied knowledge, the more their ability to absorb reality, and gain the ability The correct evaluation of matters, and their decisions came therefore achieving the public interest, and therefore education should go beyond direct jurisdiction to be launched to knowledge prospects with a positive impact on the performance of the judicial system.
In the same context, the Public Prosecutor proposed to allocate an annual award for the best legal research submitted by members of prosecution and public prosecution in light of the importance of the matter and the size of the benefit achieved about it, and work to publish it on international sites and platforms.
On the sidelines of the meeting, a symposium entitled “Criminal investigation in crimes related to digital currencies and the seizure of its evidence”, with the participation of a group of experts and specialists, was held, and the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Bahrain presented its experience in investigations related to digital currency, including methods of collecting evidence and prosecuting financial crimes.
