The Ministry of Awqaf announced the opening of 14 mosques today, Friday, 5 September 2025; Where 4 new mosques were established and built, replaced and renovated 7 mosques, maintenance and development of 3 mosques.
The ministry announced the arrival of the total number of mosques from July 2025 until now, to 135 mosques, including 108 mosques between new construction, replacement and renewal, and 27 mosques maintenance and development.
The Ministry confirmed that the total of what was repaid, renewed, maintained and brushes since July 2014 amounted to 13624 mosques, at a total cost of about 23 billion and 546 million pounds.
Endowments open 14 mosques at the governorate level today
In Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate: The Jabara Mosque was replaced and renewed in the village of Manshaa Ali – Sidi Salem Center; And Al -Rahma Mosque in Izbat Al -Maza in the village of Al -Zaafran – Al -Hamoul Center, and in Luxor Governorate: Al -Mustafa Mosque was established and built in the village of Naga Alwan in Al -Adisat – Al -Toud Center, and the Abad Al -Rahman Mosque in the village of Al -Halilah – Esna Center.
In Fayoum Governorate: The Al -Rahman Mosque in Izbat al -Qadi was replaced and renewed in the village of Al -Mazhali – Tamiya Center.
In Minya Governorate: The Ali Saeed Mosque in Izbat Ali Saeed, in the village of Attt – Bani Mazar Center, was replaced and renewed: The Al -Hidaya Mosque was replaced and renewed in the village of Awlad Azaz – Sohag Center, and in Gharbia Governorate: The Grand Mosque in Izbat Awais – Zefta Center has been replaced and renewed.
In Matrouh Governorate: Al -Ansar Mosque in Naga Al -Dahman was established and built in the village of Al -Salam – Al -Hamam City; And Nasser Muhammad Jassim Mosque – Sidi Brani City.
In Al -Buhaira Governorate: The Grand Mosque in the village of Adam – Abu al -Matamir Center was replaced, and in Wadi Al -Jadeed Governorate: The Grand Al -Bayri Mosque – Al -Kharga city was maintained and developed, and in Sharkia Governorate: The Al -Fath Mosque – Zagazig Center was maintained and developed, and in Assiut Governorate: The Jalab Mosque in the village of Denka – Assiut Center has been maintained and developed.
