With the beginning of the new academic year, the Kingdom of Bahrain is making great organizational and security efforts to create a safe school environment for students and educational cadres, as part of an integrated plan by the Ministry of Interior and in cooperation with government ministries, to enhance community security.
In this context, the efforts of the General Administration of Traffic in organizing traffic during the return period for schools come through ways to intensify traffic patrols in the vicinity of schools to facilitate the movement and ensure students reach the study seats safely, as it introduces traffic guidelines and publishes them through the media and social communication, such as reminding vehicle users of the need to adhere to traffic safety rules and avoid random parking near schools, and at the educational level organizes the public administration for traffic Community service and school guards training courses to enhance traffic safety.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, is keen to organize a series of awareness programs directed to students and parents, such as traffic safety lectures and workshops on digital security to protect students from the dangers of the Internet, and the ministry is also keen to involve students in these campaigns through interactive activities and various competitions, in order to enhance the culture of commitment to laws and makes them active partners in spreading awareness.
The role of the Ministry of Works also comes in preparing roads in preparation for the new academic year with the aim of providing a safe environment for students in order to preserve their safety and the safety of road users and improve the current street status to avoid possible traffic jams with the beginning of the return to school Safe services for students and the educational body, coinciding with the start of the new academic year, so that all schools are ready to receive students since the first school day in implementation of the directives of good leadership.
The Ministry of Interior constantly emphasizes that the family is a major partner in the success of security efforts throughout the school year, through the commitment of parents to traffic laws, and follow -up of their children’s use of modern technologies safely, as it believes that cooperation between the security services and society contributes to building a safe and stable school environment. The return of students to schools is not just the beginning of a new academic year, but rather an occasion that reflects cohesion and cooperation between state institutions and society, and through the intensive preparations of the Ministry of Interior with the ministries of the Kingdom, security and safety remains a priority, in a way that ensures a successful start that enhances development gains in Bahrain.
