Minister of Justice: Youth is an essential pillar in pushing the development paths in the judicial sector

Mr. Nawwaf bin Muhammad Al -Ma’wada, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, affirmed that young people are a basic pillar in pushing the paths of judicial development, embodying the goals of the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, in building capabilities and developing cadres Patriotism.

This came during a dialogue meeting that brought together the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments with a group of young people participating in the activities of the third edition of the “Future bet” program, which is organized by the Bahrain Institute for Political Development.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Bassam Ismail Al Banmah Muhammad, member of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, Mrs. Iman Faisal Janahi, the executive director of the institute, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, Endowments and the Institute.

During the meeting, the Minister presented the most prominent development initiatives in the Justice Sector, which is based on enhancing access to justice and perpetuating the rule of law.

He also highlighted the Ministry’s role in supporting the national economy by developing services provided to citizens, residents and investors, in addition to supporting the provision of job opportunities by developing new legal professions such as the private port, private justice writers and mediators in disputes, in line with the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

He reviewed the continuous electronic transformation witnessed by the judicial sector, which included implementation services, courts, minors, documentation, judicial advertisements, Hajj, and other sectors, noting the contributions of young people to planning and implementing these fundamental projects that contributed to a qualitative shift in facilitating and developing procedures.

He pointed to the role of the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies in spreading legal awareness and human rights culture through the implementation of periodic programs, stressing that the human element, especially young people, is the focus of the institute’s interest and priorities.

It is noteworthy that the “The Future bet” program aims to continue to enable the participants and educate them about the comprehensive development process that embodies the lofty visions of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect him and his sponsors, and the constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as educating them with everything related to the sustainable development goals and its relationship to Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, in addition to providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge, training them in teamwork, and providing initiatives And the developmental and creative proposals that contribute to the renaissance and raising of the country, as well as developing their leadership skills, enhancing the culture of dialogue and exchanging opinion, and qualifying them for effective engagement in national action.

This, and the third edition of the program comes as an extension of the success achieved by the previous two versions, as it includes a series of dialogue meetings that bring together His Excellency the Excellencies and His Excellency the ministers and senior officials in the country with a group of participating youth, to discuss issues of concern to the present and future of the country.
