Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, continues the repercussions of the exit of 7 vehicles on the rods by train No. 1935 coming from Matrouh to Cairo in the region between the Fouka and Jalal stations in the scope of Matrouh Governorate, which led to a coup of 2 vehicles, which resulted in a number of injuries and deaths.
Raising the maximum state of preparation with all executive bodies in Matrouh
The Minister of Local Development conducted a number of phone calls with Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, to follow up the developments of the accident and take the necessary measures, raise the maximum state of preparation for all executive bodies in Matrouh and follow up the efforts to transfer the injured to hospitals in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population to provide health and treatment aspects.
Dr. Manal Awad made the sincere supplication for a speedy recovery for the injured in the accident and sincere sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased, and to inspire their relatives with patience and solace.
The Minister of Local Development indicated that she had contacted the relevant ministries to follow up the developments of the situation and coordinate with the Matrouh Governorate to provide the necessary capabilities and support the efforts made to the various regions of the state, and in particular, providing relief interventions and urgent assistance to the families of the injured and the deceased.
