Today, Thursday, the Israeli army launched a series of intense air strikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and a number of other regions.
Hebrew media reported that the successive explosions that shook Sanaa amounted to about ten explosions.
According to the Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation, the attack was considered “exceptionally and important”, noting that the army was aiming to target prominent leaders in the Houthi group.
The Hebrew Channel 12 also quoted a source that the raids came while a number of Houthi leaders were combined at the targeting site.
In the same context, Channel 14 reported that the plan to target the Houthi leaders was approved last week by Defense Minister Yiser Katz, the Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and the army leadership, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s knowledge of the plan via the red line
