Abdullah bin Adel, Minister of Industry and Trade, received Smitha Jensen, Chairman of the Indian Women’s Association, and a number of members of the association’s board of directors.
During the meeting, the Minister of Industry and Trade affirmed the prominent role played by the continuous Indian Women Association in strengthening friendship relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India, and their contributions to developing volunteer work and community partnership, indicating that women are an active partner in the development and prosperity process in their various sectors, which is embodied in their positive presence in all initiatives, especially community.
During the meeting, the most prominent volunteer projects and programs offered by the Indian Women Association were reviewed, and its continuous endeavor to extend bridges of cultural and community cooperation, and to enhance relations between the two friendly countries.
