In implementation of the assignments of Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Eng. Amin Ghoneim, Vice -President of the Urban Communities Authority for the Real Estate and Commercial Affairs Sector, held a meeting of the Central Unit for Policies of Dealing with Lands added to a number of new cities, to follow up the procedures for successful conditions for requests submitted by citizens, in the presence of the leadership of the authority and heads of the heads of a number of new cities.

Engineer Amin Ghoneim started the meeting with a speech in which he stressed the importance of the file of legalizing the conditions of added land, and the need for speedy completion with the study and resolution of the legal, technical and real estate obstacles facing it, stressing the development of accurate time plans to finish the files, and follow up on adherence to them with all firmness.
It has also been emphasized to enhance coordination and exchange visions to remove obstacles and push the work in the file of success in the lands added to a number of new cities.
In turn, Dr. Engineer Ahmed Ismail Jabr, head of the new Obour City Authority, presented a presentation that included the achievement rates in studying the requests submitted by citizens and the target of their completion, in addition to reviewing the work of the outlets that are being implemented (water – exchange – roads), and displaying the most prominent technical and legal obstacles and suggestions of solutions, while emphasizing taking into account the social dimension and the rights of small owners.
The heads of the agency participating in the meeting also presented the current position of their cities, and the challenges facing them, and presented practical proposals in the context of implementing the directives of the Minister of Housing, as a number of mechanisms and controls to work were discussed.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the development of clear and specific time programs commensurate with the size of the applications submitted, while continuing their implementation weekly at the level of all cities, assigning the specialized work teams to overcome any obstacles to current projects, and intensify efforts and employment to ensure the speedy completion of the work in accordance with the scheduled timelines, in order to achieve the public interest and meet the needs of citizens as soon as possible.
It should be noted that the Eng. Kamal Bahjat, Vice -President of the Authority for the Development and Construction Sector, Engineer Ahmed Omran, Vice -President of the Authority for the Facilities and Maintenance of Stations and Networks, Eng. Ahmed Ali, Assistant Vice -President of the Authority for the Facilities Sector and Maintenance of Stations and Networks, Engineer Mohamed Hamdi, Eng. The Director General of Contracts at the Authority, and Counselor Ahmed Fathi Al -Sayed, Assistant Supervisor of the General Administration of Legal Affairs.
The meeting was also attended by the heads and officials of the cities of cities: (Al -Shorouk – New Svenx – Sheikh Zayed – 6 October – New October – New Port Said – West Port Said – New Alamein – New Damietta), along with a number of leaders of the authority sectors.
