The Executive Office of the National Plan for the Promotion of National Affiliation and the Establishment of Citizenship Values, “Bahraina”, participated in the activities of Al -Shabab City 2030 with an interactive wing and a number of activities, events, competitions and workshops, amid a remarkable public presence, and a distinctive interaction of visitors from different age groups, especially the youth and youth category.
The group of interactive, cultural and recreational competitions, which the pavilion guaranteed, received a great turnout during the event period, which was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, as it contributed to instilling national values and enhancing the concepts of citizenship and belonging in an innovative way, as activities varied between digital competitions, group challenges, and educational workshops.
His Excellency Major General Mohammed bin Dinah, General Supervisor of the Executive Office, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the support and interest received by the activities and participation of “Bahrain” from the head of the Ministerial Follow -up Committee for the National Plan to promote belonging and consolidate the values of citizenship, the first team His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, pointing out that this support and that care, enrichs the goals of the national plan and a message of achievement for what it contains. He praised the strategic partners offered to “Our Bahrain”, educational institutions, civil society institutions, and youth clubs, who contributed to the success of this national action.
He also expressed many thanks to His Excellency Mrs. Rawan bint Naguib Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, for organizing this national event, and Al Salam Bank for its continuous support for the “Bahraina” initiatives, along with the public and private partners, who contributed to the success of the “Bahrain” participation and turning the wing into a vital space that expresses the aspirations of young people.
It is noteworthy that among the competitions included in the participation, the “Our Values Gold” competition where visitors participated in pictures and videos, expressing national values through social media platforms, and two winners were chosen weekly to obtain cash prizes, as I witnessed the competition “I challenge you to respond” to a strong youth participation, where teams of four individuals competed with the defeated exit system, and the participating teams won the first and second places won cash prizes The “Kenz Al -Maine” competition was devoted to the emerging category from the age of 9 to 14 years, and aimed to develop thinking skills and enhance the concepts of citizenship, during which 12 winners were honored, each of whom received cash prizes.
The Wing of the Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote the National Affiliation and Establish the Values of Citizenship “Our Bahrain” throughout the effectiveness of thousands of participants, young men, youth, their families, visitors, delegations and officials, were received, amid a remarkable presence of the institutions and members of society, who were briefed on the content of the pavilion and interactive activities, and praised its role in establishing national affiliation among young people.
As part of the community partnerships, “Bahrain”, in cooperation with the “Prix Watan” team, implemented a series of initiatives, the most prominent of which was the organization of a cultural competition that was attended by more than 50 young men and women, which contributed to enhancing the spirit of collective action and instilling national values in an interactive manner.
In cooperation with the director “Jean Al Balushi”, a short filmmaking workshop was held where three short films were produced, which were produced and represented by young men from the city of youth, and each of them embodied national value in an innovative narrative and artistic style.
