Google has announced the improvement of the Drive videos -editing experience experience through a new VIDS application button to create an artificial intelligence videos, as this update is easy for Workspace users to start editing videos directly from the Drive interface, which enhances the ease of access and control of videos.

When examining any video in Drive, users will notice the appearance of the “Fatah” button in the right upper corner, which allows the video to be opened directly in the VIDS application, and once the video is played in the application the user can adjust the clips such as cutting it, adding music, or inserting texts.
Deeper combination with Workspace
This shortcut was activated by default, indicating that Google is working to integrate the VIDS application deeper with the Workspace package.
VIDS aims to facilitate video production, including creating videos of simple texts, automatically generating scenarios, rearranging the clips, adding transformations, and other features that accelerate the video editing process.
Gemini AI updates to support users
This update comes after the launch of another feature in May for Workspace users based on Gemini AI, which allows the summary of the Drive video file content using artificial intelligence, which facilitates rapid access to long videos.
