Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, received Mr. Youssef Mohamed Bouzbon, President of the Bahrain Association for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions (Coexistence), and a number of members of the association’s board of directors, where they presented the minister a copy of the book “Hosting the King of Peace”, which documents the high efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, in enhancing the principles of tolerance, dialogue and coexistence between Religions.
During the meeting, the minister affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, established a global model in coexistence and harmony, by consolidating the values of mutual respect, spreading a culture of peace, and promoting dialogue between different religions and cultures The civilized and human image of the Kingdom.
He praised the role played by the “Coexistence” association in supporting and consolidating the values of religious coexistence and tolerance in society, appreciating its publication of the book that highlights the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the international scene as an oasis for tolerance, peace and cultural and religious diversity.
The meeting also witnessed the discussion of a number of topics, and the review of the most prominent programs and initiatives adopted by the association in order to enhance understanding and rapprochement between various religions and cultures, in a way that contributes to supporting national efforts to consolidate community peace.
