Its use, especially in the markets or cafes, leads to severe results that expose you to the trap of penetration without realistic awareness of the main reason, and the UAE Security Council recently prompted the sentences of warnings after the country recorded more than 12 thousand penetration operations via “Wi -Fi” networks, since the beginning of this year.
The Council indicated that this number constitutes about 35% of the total cybersecurity in the country, as its source is the “Wi -Fi networks”. At the same time, he stressed that pirates and infiltrators target users through these networks, which have turned into effective traps to steal passwords, bank details, and personal information, according to the Emirates News Agency.
Meanwhile, in the context of these warnings, the Council found a window to alert the risks of unsafe use of unreliable “Wi -Fi” free internet networks. The council says that these networks pose a direct danger in leaking personal and financial information for users.
At the same time, the Council recommended the general users to follow advanced protection measures, most notably the use of reliable VPN applications, explaining that open internet users may be exposed to many risks, including what is known as the “man’s attacks in the middle”, as the pirates and electronic modes can read the sent data and record calls and convert users into false sites and even intercept phone calls, in addition to installing programs Microbial or spy in user devices without their knowledge.
