The local unit of the Esna Center and City, in a quick response to the directives of Eng. Abdel Muttalib, the building of the Governor of Luxor, regarding taking preventive measures to protect public utilities and strategic facilities, a campaign to remove fire causes in the vicinity of the Esna power plant.
Raising waste and dry herbs to protect vital installations and ensure the safety of citizens
A number of government agencies and institutions led by Ali Sayed Sadiq, the head of the center, participated in the campaign, which was pushed by the necessary equipment and employment to raise the waste and remove dry herbs and westering around the station.
The local unit emphasized that these waste and herbs represent a direct danger if fires erupted, especially with the high temperatures in the summer, noting that the work that was aimed at securing the station and ensuring its continued work efficiently without threat.
An integrated plan to follow up vital installations
This campaign comes within an integrated plan developed by the local unit of the Esna Center and City, to follow up on vital and strategic facilities through periodic campaigns to remove risks and pollutants, with a focus on the vicinity of power and gas stations, schools and hospitals, in a manner that guarantees a safe environment and free from fire or pollution.
