A simple smart watch capable of tracking physical activity and heart rate

Wearable heart planning monitoring devices provide care and follow -up for critical cases

Developments in heart imaging technology included the introduction of 3D Echo planning

A doctorate -airship specialist in cardiovascular disease, d. Shaima Abdel -Maboud, “Cardiovascular disease is one of the most prominent health problems in the world, as it causes the death of nearly 17.9 million people every year.” She added that «modern technological developments in the field of heart disease raised the level of treatment that patients can benefit from, as these developments help improve opportunities to survive, and cause a remarkable improvement in public health. She indicated in statements to “Al -Watan” that the heart systems have witnessed in recent years significant improvements thanks to the impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning, explaining that this qualitative shift contributed to early detection, careful diagnosis, better monitoring, and timely medical interventions, in addition to providing advanced treatment options.

Dr. Shaima Abdel -Maboud indicates that modern heart care techniques have radically changed treatment procedures, as they only provide reinforced care for patients, but also allowing the potential results of various treatments before any actual physical intervention.

And it indicated that the devices used by patients such as heart control devices and fitness tracking devices have become very useful in the stages of discovery and monitoring, noting that a simple smart watch is able to track physical activity, sleep patterns, heart rate and providing nutritional recommendations, while wearable heart planning monitoring devices provide advanced care and follow -up to critical cases.

She added that the medical devices are today smaller and more pregnant, which provides a broader future capabilities in focusing heart care on early detection and effective diagnosis. With regard to the diagnosis, she explained that a healthcare professional examines the patient and listens to his heartbeat and asks questions about the symptoms he feels and his personal and family pathological biography, noting that there is a set of tests used in the diagnosis of heart disease.

D. Shaima Abdel -Maboud, “These tests include blood tests that can reveal the heart proteins that leak into the blood after a heart attack, in addition to the high -sensitive -sensitive protein -related protein test, as well as other tests of sugar levels and cholesterol in the blood.”

She added that «X -ray photography shows the lung condition, and it can reveal an enlarged heart muscle, while the ECG is a fast and painless test that records electrical signals in the heart, and reveals whether the heart is beating very quickly or very slowly.

She pointed out that «the Holter device, which is a mobile device for an electrocardiogram that is worn for a day or more, helps to record heart activity during daily activities and discovering pulse disorders that may not appear in the normal examination, while the echocardiogram is used, which is a non -surgical examination of sound waves, to give detailed images of the heart during movement, and to show how blood is transmitted across the heart and its valves, which helps in determining whether the valve is narrow or with it a leak”.

She stated that «the voltage tests that are conducted during exercise, such as walking on a walking device or riding a bike, reveals the heart’s response to physical activities and whether the symptoms of heart disease appear during them, noting that alternative medications can be given to the patient that mimic the effect of exercises if it is not possible to practice.”

D. Shaima Abdel -Maboud said that «the heart catheter is used to clarify the blockages in the arteries of the heart by inserting a thin tube in the blood vessels, often from the ingot or wrist area, and directed towards the heart, where a dye is injected that helps to show the arteries more clearly in x -ray images.

She added that «the computerized tomography of the heart is also used, as the patient lies on a table inside a device that resembles a device to take precise pictures of the heart and chest, while the MRI of the heart is another advanced means that depends on the magnetic field and radio waves to provide detailed images of the heart muscle and its structure.

She pointed out that «developments in the technology of heart imaging included the introduction of 3D Echocardiograms, explaining that this technique is one of the most important modern achievements, as doctors give a three -dimensional picture of more clear and accurate heart, which helps them to evaluate valves, rooms and blood flow more precisely.” Dr. Shaima Abdel -Ma’boud, stressing that “this technique allows doctors to plan more effectively to surgical interventions, such as repairing the heart valves, which represents a qualitative shift in improving patients’ results and the quality of heart care. ”
