The Sharjah Charitable Society distributed during the first half of this year 2110 Qur’ans in mosques in a number of Asian and African countries. This project comes to support societies that lack the Qur’an, and its people do not have the ability to buy them because of their difficult living conditions. The distribution included copies in Arabic and other translated into different languages, so that non -Arabic speakers can read the Qur’an and understand its meanings. The Qur’ans have reached remote villages, schools and mosques, in which only a limited number of old copies, or wooden panels on which the wall and verses are written.
