Dr. Ahmed Hamdi, the father of the student Aisha, revealed new details about the crisis of manipulation in the desires of his daughter through the electronic coordination site, stressing that the Ministry of Higher Education quickly responded to the complaint, and that the coordination office continued directly to reform the futility that took place.
Hamdi said, in exclusive statements to “Cairo 24”, that the coordination office obtained a copy of “pdf” from the last amendment made by the family to the desires of his daughter before being tampered with her colleague, noting that the office assured him that he will rearrange the desires according to the approved official copy, while providing the family with a new password to enable the student to follow her desires after the correction.
He explained that the minister’s office commissioned one of the officials to communicate with him more than once during the past hours, to follow up the details of the incident, stressing that the communication was continuously made with Professor Mahmoud Badr, who follows up the file with the minister’s office and the head of the coordination office.
On the details of the incident, the student’s father explained that his daughter’s colleague in the housing was able to obtain her personal data, including the national ID card and the password for coordination, and took advantage of her to manipulate her academic desires, before she admitted to her mother what she committed, which led to a great shock to the family.
He pointed out that the family was not aimed at legal escalation or demanding compensation, stressing: “All we asked is to restore the right of my daughter and reform the error that was committed against her, until she joins the Faculty of Medicine like its brothers, as it is superior in a way that exceeds them in stages.”
Ahmed Hamdi stressed that his family is entirely behind his daughter Aisha to support her psychologically in this crisis, expressing his hope that the efforts made by the ministry will be successful, and that his daughter can achieve her dream of joining the Faculty of Medicine, adding: “We are grateful to everyone who interfered and contributed to saving the future of my daughter.”
