Khadouri: “The Supreme Women” is the most prominent pillars of national action and contributed to the emergence of Bahraini women regionally and internationally

Mrs. Nancy Dina Eli Khadouri, a member of the Shura Council, confirmed that the Supreme Council for Women represents one of the most important pillars of national institutional work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that his pioneering role during more than two decades contributed to creating a qualitative shift in the reality of Bahraini women, and enhancing their active participation in the paths of sustainable development, and enabled it to achieve a prominent presence on the regional and international arenas.

On the occasion of the twenty -fourth anniversary of the founding of the Supreme Council for Women, Khadouri added that the council led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of His Majesty the Great King, President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, succeeded in building strategic partnerships at the regional and international levels, most notably the launch of the Princess Sabika Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa International Award to Empire Women in partnership with the United Nations Authority for Women, after the success of the experience The National Award as a practical tool for translating the royal vision on women into concrete policies and practices in the public and private sectors and civil society institutions.

Khadouri stated that the partnership between the Supreme Council for Women and all the institutions of the Kingdom, foremost of which is the legislative authority, is a basic pillar of achieving national goals in the field of empowering women, stressing the importance of continuing to work in the spirit of one team to enhance Bahraini women’s gains, preserve their leadership role in society, and ensure the sustainability of their participation in the promising sectors, especially in the fields of technology, innovation, and renewable energy.
