Britain condemned Israel’s approval of the “E1 project”, which stipulates the expansion of settlements in occupied East Jerusalem and separated the northern West Bank from its south.

British Foreign Secretary David Lami criticized the Israeli decision, in a statement posted through his account on the “X” platform, saying that London condemns the decision to ratify the Supreme Planning Council of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
Lami added that in the event of Israel implementing this decision, the project will divide the State of Palestine into two parts, and it will be a flagrant violation of international law and will strongly undermine the two -state solution, “calling on the Israeli government to retract this decision.
