The executive and supervisory bodies in Menoufia Governorate launched an enlarged evening campaign targeting the confrontation of fraud and fraud in meat circulation, in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, by intensifying control over the markets and tightening campaigns on the places of selling and circulating meat, poultry and fish to ensure the arrival of safe and healthy food for citizens.

The campaign was led by Walid Salem, head of the Menouf Center and City, with the participation of a joint committee from the General Administration of Places and Public Health at the Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Menoufia, headed by Dr. Hani Shams El Din, Director General of massacres and public health, Dr. Madh Al -Sharqawi, and Dr. Amr Al -Zarqani, doctors of the massacres and meat inspection, and in conjunction with the Menouf Supply Department represented in Mohamed Shakra, Ikram Al -Mallah, Ahmed Farouk, and Wafaa Salim, Director of the Governance Department.
The campaign’s efforts resulted in the seizure of one of the unlicensed places in the city of Menouf, whose owner is slaughtering animals that are not suitable for human consumption in conditions that lack health and environmental requirements, which poses a serious danger to the health of citizens.
The necessary legal measures were taken regarding the incident, and a report of the incident was edited, with the seizures referred to the investigation authorities that undertake the investigation and take the necessary decisions against the violators.
Menoufia Governorate confirms the continued intensification of inspection campaigns on the markets and commercial stores to address any attempts to cheat or manipulate the health of citizens.
