Dr. Ahmed Al -Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, announced that the governorate’s initiative to sell fresh municipal meat at reduced prices will continue its work starting tomorrow, Thursday, August 21, and for a period of four weeks, through 9 outlets and butchers, in order to contribute to lifting the burden on limited income.

The governor added that the initiative is implemented by the governorate under the full supervision of the field follow -up unit in the governorate, and the departments of catering and veterinary medicine, in the process of buying livestock, transportation, slaughter and sale, to ensure that the supply of meat is matched to health specifications and requirements, appreciating the efforts of all supporters and those in charge of the initiative, expressing his thanks to all sales outlets and partner butcher stores.
The Governor of Fayoum revealed that the price of 330 pounds was determined to sell a kilo of fresh municipal meat at all outlets and partner butcher stores at the initiative in the current stage of the initiative, explaining that the sales outlets were chosen near taxi parking to ensure the initiative reaching the largest number of people from the province.
He added, that the sale will continue with the ports and partner butcher shops, throughout the day of Thursday of each week, until the end of the amount of meat allocated to each outlet, explaining that the initiative will be implemented in its first week of the current stage through 9 ports and butchers in the city of Fayoum and the Abshway Center, of which 8 ports in Fayoum are: Osama Zahlan’s butcher in the inspection area, and Hyper known by the area The Hyper Glab in the Haddah area, the hyperblalab in the Al -Masala area, next to the Farh Restaurant, the Heber Glab in the Al -Mashtal area, in front of the College of Education, the Hyper Ghallab Hamzawi in the Baroudi area, the Heber Glab Hamzawi on the Al -Salam Champion Street in front of the court, and the Heber Jallab Hamzawi in the Selkhana area, and in the Abshway Center, Hyper Market in Al -Gomhoria Street.
Al -Ansari pointed out that the initiative comes within the framework of the directives of the political leadership to implement a number of initiatives that would raise the burden on the shoulders of the simple and low -income, and to provide basic meat and food commodities at reduced prices, noting that No. 0842168043 and hotline 114 were allocated to receive citizens’ complaints of any violations that may relate to the implementation of the initiative.
