The members of the General Assembly of Zamalek Club appealed to President Sisi to solve the club’s land crisis on October 6, and to cancel the decision issued by the Urban Communities Authority to withdraw the club’s land.
Statement of the members of the General Assembly of Zamalek
The members of the General Assembly said in a letter to President Sisi: His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, sincere greetings and appreciation, in advance to your sovereignty of the members of the Zamalek Club.
The statement added: By referring to the decision issued by the Urban Communities Authority to withdraw the land of the Zamalek Club on June 11, 2025, we appeal to you, as the head of the state, to intervene immediate In the middle of Cairo, and we seek your sovereignty that if there were errors from the councils of the current or previous departments or the committees appointed by the state, they are held accountable and the members of the club, whose land is their only dream and the inheritance of their children in the club, as we, as general assemblies, are paying annual fees to develop the club’s land in the sixth of October years ago, to be the hope for us to be the hope for us. Its resources and inheritance that we leave for our children in an ancient club, such as the Zamalek Club from the branch stacked in the center of Cairo, to a second branch in a new urban space that can accommodate most of us who left the living in the scope of the central Cairo areas and went out with the urban expansion to the new cities in western Cairo.
