Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business Sector, witnessed a ceremony for signing a cooperation protocol between the Ministry and the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial and Banking Sciences, within the framework of the continuous efforts of the Ministry to develop subsidiary companies and raise the efficiency of its employees, in order to support the state’s plans in promoting institutional performance and advancing the sustainable development process.
A cooperation protocol between the business sector and the Arab Academy for Administrative and Financial Sciences
The protocol was signed by: Major General Hossam Qandil, the permanent undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Business Sector, Dr. Amr Al -Nahhas, Vice President of the Academy for Business and Training, in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Hudaib, President of the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial and Banking Sciences, and Dr. Rasha Ragheb, First Vice President of the Academy.
Engineer Mohamed Shimi stressed that this cooperation comes from the pivotal role of the Ministry in managing state investments in the public business sector companies affiliated with and developing, and from its firm belief in the importance of investing in human capital as one of the basic axes to improve institutional performance and enhance competitiveness, through the development of management systems and raising the capabilities of workers at various levels.
The minister explained that building human being is the main pillar in any reform or development process, and from here comes the importance of this cooperation to qualify human cadres and provide them with the latest skills and knowledge that enables them to lead the paths of modernization and restructuring in public business sector companies.
For his part, Dr. Mustafa Hudaib expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Public Business Sector and his happiness by signing the cooperation protocol, stressing that this step will reflect positively on the workers of the Ministry and the subsidiaries by benefiting from the academy’s experiences in various fields.
Dr. Rasha Ragheb also expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the Minister of Business Sector to provide this valuable opportunity, noting that cooperation with the Ministry of Business Sector will contribute to developing scientific and practical competencies, and opens a broader future prospects for the Ministry and its companies and the families of its employees covered in cooperation according to the site protocol.
This protocol provides broad prospects for raising the efficiency of operating cadres through specialized training programs, as well as partial grants to workers in the Ministry and subsidiaries in graduate studies programs in the field of business administration (Master – PhD). Under the protocol, a joint committee is formed between the Ministry and the Academy to develop an executive work plan that includes designing specialized training programs, providing graduate studies opportunities for workers, as well as organizing workshops and seminars to enhance cognitive exchange and experiences in the administrative, financial and banking fields.
The signing of this protocol reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Public Business Sector to support the paths of institutional reform, and to achieve a balance between raising the operational efficiency of subsidiaries and investing in the human element, as it is the cornerstone of building a more sustainable and competitive future for the national economy.
