STC Bahrain announced the launch of the second edition of its training program “ICT”, which is one of its most prominent initiatives in the field of social responsibility that the company offers as a digital possible. This initiative comes in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and the Labor Fund “Tamkeen”, within the framework of a partnership aimed at enhancing integration between academic education and practical application, and linking education outcomes to the needs of the labor market.
The “ICT” program exceeds that it is a training program only, as it represents a strategic investment in developing national human capital, by empowering Bahraini youth and new graduates with advanced technical and practical skills, in addition to developing their capabilities in many fields, including business, leadership, and leadership, in line with the requirements of the labor market in the telecommunications and financial technology sectors.
To enhance the success of the program, the “ICT” continues to provide permanent employment opportunities for the distinguished participants, as 15 graduates of the previous version have been employed full -time in STC Bahrain, which constitutes a strong base from which the upcoming payments are launched, and contributes to drawing clear professional paths for the beneficiaries. The program also supports the Kingdom of Bahrain to consolidate its position as a regional center in the fields of information technology and digital transformation.
In this context, His Excellency Mr. Youssef bin Al -Hussein Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs, Minister of Labor of the Agency, stressed the importance of preparing and qualifying professionals for professional work in line with the requirements of the labor market, especially in the telecommunications and digital technology sector, which is one of the promising, vital and attractive sectors for citizens, praising the initiative of STC Bahrain that aims to train and employ university graduates from citizens.
Khalaf explained that the company’s launch of the second version of the ICT Generation Program, in cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), comes within the framework of the community partnership to support the efforts to develop national human resources, in a way that contributes to refining the basic skills of the participants in the program, and providing them with direct practical experiences in the communications and information technology environment, stressing that such programs enhance the Ministry’s efforts to link training outcomes and education with the needs of the labor market.
