The data of the Royal Foundation for Humanitarian Works and published through the open data platform showed that the total number of Bahraini orphans sponsored by about 4.5 thousand orphans during the year 2024, when males formed more than two thousand orphans, while the number of females reached about 2.4 thousand orphans.
According to the data, the number of Bahraini sponsors reached nearly 11 thousand people, distributed between 6.5 thousand widows and 4.5 thousand orphans. The total number of Bahraini families guaranteed last year was about 6.9 thousand families.
On the level of humanitarian aid, citizens benefited from about 4.8 thousand assistance, from which the general living acquired the largest share with 2.4 thousand assistance, followed by marriage assistance with 1.3 thousand assistance, then treatment with about 760 cases. The aid also included the support of 79 fugitives, 84 fire cases, in addition to 25 academic assistance, and 20 projects to furnish homes, as well as providing electrical appliances to 50 families.
