Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, stressed the importance of paying and intensifying work with projects to develop and raise the efficiency of road axes and support infrastructure in the new city of Damietta, as well as the Diyarna Diards for Mediterranean Housing in the city.

In the same context, the Minister of Housing stressed the importance of the speedy completion of the implementation of national projects being implemented in new cities, and the implementation of projects in accordance with the standard specifications to achieve the maximum benefit from the investments that are pumped in these projects, the advancement of the level of services provided to citizens, and the payment of the investment wheel.
This came during the follow -up of Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, the progress of work on a number of projects being implemented in the new city of Damietta, through the results of inspection tours and reports on projects.
Engineer Ashraf Fathi Mahmoud, head of the new Damietta City Authority, and the officials of the agency, inspected paving and raising the efficiency of the western coastal road, to ensure adherence to the specifications, the quality of the implementation of the work and the necessary tests to ensure the quality of implementation in coordination between the supervision and the project consultant.
The head of the agency and his companions also inspected the paving of roads in neighboring 32 in the sixth district, directing the company executing the project with the speedy completion of the implementation of the works in parallel with the implementation of service projects, and during his tour confirmed the continuation and intensification of agriculture work and beautifying the islands, squares and the entrances to the city.
The head and officials of the new Damietta Authority inspected the project to implement the electricity network and lighting of the Damietta Park region, the construction of 2 distributors, expansion and support for the existing dispensers with the stereotypes, as well as the implementation of the Mediterranean housing project, Diarna, south of the first district, for 33 buildings as a first stage.
Also in his tour, the head of the agency, continuously directed the backfilling and settlement work to cut the vacant lands to preserve the civilizational and development appearance in the city’s neighborhoods, with increased rates of hygiene and agriculture and the speed of returning the thing to its origin in the roads of the roads.
The development and expansion of the road in the ambush area
In the same context, the head of the new Damietta City Authority, and the officials of the agency, inspected the work of developing and expanding the road in the ambush area west of the city, in the context of cooperation and supporting the various service agencies in the city.
The head of the agency also inspected the first, fourth and fifth residential neighborhoods, and confirmed the visit of hygiene and agriculture rates, and eliminating any manifestations of encroachments outside the organization lines in order to maintain the quality of services.
In a related context, the head of the agency, the private beaches area and the public beach area, inspected to follow up the results of the development work that preceded the summer season and the work plan to provide services to the city’s resorters, which had returned in attracting vacationers.
The head of the agency emphasized the preservation, the civilizational appearance and improve the level of public hygiene around the clock in the Corniche and the beach area, and to support crops and trees at the entrances to the beach and the corniche, to improve the aesthetic and development image in the region.
