The Emirates Post issued a new memorial stamp entitled “The League of Arab States: Eighty years of joint Arab action”, to document the university’s march since its foundation in 1945 and in appreciation of its role in consolidating cooperation between Arab countries and enhancing the presence of the unified Arab voice in international forums. This edition comes in response to the recommendations of the Secretary -General of the League of Arab States and within the framework of regional celebrations on this occasion, as it was designed in coordination with the General Secretariat of the University to reflect the spirit of Arab unity and its ancient institutional heritage and embody the values of independence, integration and solidarity that the joint Arab action system has been imposed on.
