Dr. Salama Jumaa Dawood, President of Al -Azhar University, announced that today, Tuesday, August 19, the editorial test of the free reading competition organized by the General Administration of Student Welfare at the University at the Grand Celebration Hall at the Faculty of Education for Boys Cairo in its second edition.
The first gets 100 thousand pounds .. The start of the written test in the free reading competition at Al -Azhar University today
The President of the University explained that the first -place student will receive a financial prize of 100 thousand pounds.
The President of the University stressed the importance of reading in building a strong personality, noting that the importance of reading is that it expands students’ knowledge and opens their horizons to different worlds and cultures, and helps them to understand self and develop ideas better, as it develops linguistic and expressive skills, and increases the student’s ability to think critical and creativity, and teaches you communication skills and problem solving, as it is an excellent source of improving mental health.
The President of the University pointed out that the “Free Reading” competition aims to test the ability of students to read, summarize and explain the benefit of five valuable books; she:
1 – Entertainment and support for Abu Hayyan Al -Tawhidi.
2 – Al -Shifa in introducing the rights of Al -Mustafa to Judge Ayyad.
3 – The light of the certainty in the biography of the master of the messengers of Sheikh Al -Khudari.
4- The great news of Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Draz.
5- A message on the way to our culture of Professor Mahmoud Shaker.
