Bapco Enemz – the integrated energy group that leads the transformation of the energy sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain – held the closing ceremony of the vocational training program for university students, with the participation of more than 200 university trainees at the level of all parts of the group, in line with the group’s commitment to investing national talents and competencies by training an elite of future leaders and developing their professional and technical skills.
The vocational training program for university students provides an opportunity to gain practical experiences and valuable professional experiences within the Babco Enemz system and its subsidiaries, including: Babco Refining Company, Babco Gas Company, Babco Exploration and Production Company, Babco Tazuz Company, Babco aircraft fuel company, and the Arab Shipbuilding Company (family).
Participants in the program underwent an integrated training program that included training units, workshops and various guidelines aimed at enhancing professional skills and consolidating the culture of continuous improvement and innovation, as the vocational training program for university students was designed to contribute to enhancing skills and knowledge of the trainees and focuses on vocational development, driving training, and personal growth.
In turn, Mr. Mark Thomas, CEO of the group, stressed the importance and role of such a program in enhancing the development of national talent, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Babco Enege, and the group’s endeavor to train and qualify national cadres in various group companies in order to involve graduates actively and completely in all aspects of the development process.

It is worth noting that the vocational training program for university students aims to prepare professionals leaders and enhance their efficiency by giving them the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge and skills in an actual work environment, and in order to work in the energy, oil and gas sector and adopt the leadership of innovation in it, where the trainees under their university specializations underwent practical training during the months of July and August during which they were directed to perform tasks and jobs Various for these companies, with the aim of developing their practical skills and completing graduation requirements.
