Hamas has informed Egyptian and Qatari mediators to agree to their new proposal regarding the ceasefire with Israel in the Gaza Strip, according to informed sources in Hamas, “Al -Arabiya” and “Al -Hadath” today, Monday.
In the same context, a source from the movement said that his identity is not disclosed to the French News Agency: “Hamas handed over its response to the mediators with its approval and the (Palestinian) factions to the new proposal regarding the ceasefire and without requesting any amendments.”
In turn, a source in the Palestinian factions said that “Hamas agreed to the proposal submitted without any amendments.”
A Palestinian official had previously reported that the mediators had suggested a 60 -day truce that included the release of prisoners in two batches.
On the other hand, an Israeli official said that Tel Aviv had not yet received Hamas’s response to the proposal.
In a related context, a source of my channel, “Al -Arabiya” and “Al -Hadath” said that “Egypt and Qatar will invite the American envoy Steve Wittouf to come to Cairo to complete the Gaza deal.”
For his part, Israeli National Security Minister Etamar bin Ghaffir, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warned of accepting a “partial deal”, saying: “You have no mandate to go to a partial deal without the defeat of Hamas … If Netanyahu surrenders and stops the war, he will waste an enormous opportunity.”
For its part, the families of the Israeli prisoners stressed in a letter to US President Donald Trump, the need for a “comprehensive deal”.
