The Egyptian Red Crescent launched, this morning, the convoy of “Zad Al -Azza … from Egypt to Gaza”, which includes a number of urgent food, medical and relief aid trucks, in the direction of the southern Gaza Strip, through the Karam Abu Salem crossing, as part of its continuous efforts as a national mechanism to coordinate aid to Gaza.
The Egyptian Red Crescent pays about 2,300 tons of food and medical assistance in the 17th “Zad Al -Azza” convoy to Gaza
The Egyptian Crescent paid the 17th convoy of “Zad Al -Azza”, loaded with about 2300 tons of aid, which included more than 2200 food and accurate assistance, tons of medical supplies and tents, and relief materials needed by the sector, and this comes within the framework of Egyptian efforts to provide food and relief support to the people of the sector.
It is noteworthy that, the convoy of “Zad Al -Azza … from Egypt to Gaza”, which was launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent, started on July 27, carrying thousands of tons of aid that varied between: food supply chains, flour, children’s milk, medical supplies, treatment drugs, personal care requirements, and tons of fuel.
The Egyptian Red Crescent is as a national mechanism to coordinate and promote aid to Gaza, on the border since the start of the crisis, where the Rafah crossing has not been closed from the Egyptian side permanently, and continued to be prepared in all logistical centers and its continuous efforts to enter aid, which amounted to more than 36 thousand trucks loaded with about half a million tons of humanitarian aid and relief, with the efforts of 35 thousand volunteers in the association.
