Hebrew reports claimed that about 80,000 soldiers affiliated with the Israeli occupation army will participate in the besieging of Gaza City, as part of the entire occupation of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Walla website, quoting sources, stated that this comes after the approval of the Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, officially, the plan of the occupation of Gaza City, noting that the Defense Minister of Israel will officially agree to the plan tomorrow.
The Hebrew site claimed that the plan includes a large -scale forced evacuation of the Palestinians for at least two weeks, starting with a military operation that follows a gradual entry into the city, noting that the occupation authorities sent the evacuation plan to American officials upon their request, claiming that the government is expected to believe the plan before the weekend.
Israeli occupation in Gaza
On August 8, the Israeli Cabinet approved the proposal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to gradually occupy the Gaza Strip, starting with Gaza City.
As part of the plan, on August 11, Israeli forces launched a major attack on the Al -Zaytoun neighborhood, including the demolition of houses using robots loaded with explosives, artillery strikes, random fire, and forced displacement, eyewitnesses said.
More than 61,900 Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza by the Israeli occupation forces, since October 2023.
