The Criminal Appeal Court in its session held yesterday considered the case of the “Killer of Al -Shakhoura”, in which the head of the Public Prosecution affirmed that pushing the lawyers to abandon the responsibility of the accused is not in his place, according to the assurances of the witnesses of the witnesses, and demanding the support of the appealed judgment to death.
The head of the Public Prosecution said before the court, that after hearing the statements of the witnesses, it is clear to your justice that paying the lawyers to the absence of the accused’s responsibility is not in his place, as the advisory committee confirmed that, even if the accused was diagnosed twenty years ago with mood disturbance, he was not affected by this, as he planned the crime to prepare the crime weapon and hide his patch and wear gloves, and then he actually criminalized and disposed of the crime weapon, and this is evidence of the crime weapon. The will and choice of the aforementioned was not affected by his psychological illness, which is free will before and during the perpetration of the incident.
In its session, the court heard the statements of the head and a member of the medical committee that revealed the accused in the Shakhoura case, as the witnesses confirmed responsibility for his actions during the incident.
The Public Prosecution demanded the rejection of the appeal and the support of the former major court ruling to obtain the accused, the penalty of his crime against the victim and the community.
The court decided to postpone the consideration of the case to the next session, which is scheduled to be held on the first of next September for the closing argument.
The first instance court issued a ruling yesterday to punish the accused for death, for committing the murder of his neighbor in Al -Shakhoura with premeditation.
It should be noted that the security authorities received a notification that the body of a person was found on the road and near his residence in the Shakhoura area and has several stab wounds, and accordingly, the Public Prosecution began an investigation as soon as they received that notification.
The prosecution listened to the testimony of witnesses and through their statements, and the records of the security cameras to identify the personality of the perpetrator who turned out to be a neighbor of the victim and his relatives, and then he was arrested based on the prosecution order, and by interrogating him he confessed to committing the incident, detailed that he had resolved to kill the victim after previous differences, and he was lined up when he left his house and stabbed him with a knife.
