An introductory symposium on the baccalaureate system at the Saidia School Theater in the presence of educational and university leaders

The Giza Education Directorate will organize tomorrow, Monday, an extensive introductory symposium on the Egyptian baccalaureate system, at the Saidia Secondary School of Boys in Giza Governorate, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and a number of educational and university leaders.

This symposium comes within the framework of the directives of Mohamed Abdel -Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, of the necessity of educating students and parents about the developments and details of the baccalaureate system, which is one of the developed educational models aimed at developing the educational system and raising the efficiency of learning outcomes.

The symposium is scheduled to deal with a detailed explanation of the goals and content of the baccalaureate system, the mechanisms of its application, and the differences between it and the traditional educational system, in addition to answering the inquiries of students from students and parents.

Through these activities, the Ministry aims to build bridges of direct communication with society, and to involve parents in understanding the future vision of education in Egypt, in order to enhance the chances of success of any new educational system that is applied on the ground.

The Directorate and the Ministry, through these seminars, help students and their parents to choose between the two systems with relief, and in proportion to their capabilities and capabilities.

Egyptian baccalaureate system

The Minister of Education and Technical Education emphasized that the way for students and parents was opened to choose the most appropriate educational path for their children, whether through the traditional high school system or the Egyptian baccalaureate system, in order to allow freedom of choice in accordance with the tendencies and capabilities of each student.

Abdel Latif added during his statements, that the adoption of the Egyptian baccalaureate system came within the framework of the ministry’s keenness to diversify educational systems and provide modern alternatives in line with global developments in the field of education, noting that the system has become official and officially recognized inside Egypt and outside, and allows its graduates to complete their university studies in both Egyptian or international universities.

The Minister stressed the need to educate the parents about the fundamental differences between the two systems, in terms of the nature of the study, the evaluation pattern, and the thinking skills that each system focuses on, so that they can take the correct decision based on a comprehensive understanding, directed to the need to intensify the introductory and guidance campaigns for students and parents, to ensure clarity of vision about the advantages and characteristics of each system, in a way that enhances the effectiveness of the choice. It supports the success of the educational experience of students.
