The Minister of Information congratulated Dr. Ramzan Al -Nuaimi, Chairman and members of the Bahraini Journalists Association, on the occasion of the success of the electoral process and the new formation of the board of directors, expressing his wishes for success in performing their duties, in order to enhance the position of the national press and its pioneering role in serving the country and highlighting its development and civilizational achievements.
The Minister of Information emphasized that the Bahraini press is receiving the generous care and continuous attention from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, noting that the high congratulations that His Majesty prefers to the elected president and members of the board of directors, reflects his majesty’s firm belief in the vital role played by the national press in supporting the comprehensive renaissance march, and consolidating the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain at various levels.
The Minister of Information noted the generous congratulations that His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, preferred to the Chairman and members of the Association’s Board of Directors, explaining that it embodies the continuous care and attention that his highness in the press and media sector in the Kingdom, as a major partner in documenting and highlighting national achievements, and transferring the image of the Kingdom of Bahrain to various regional and international forums.
The Minister of Information also praised the efficiency and professional competence and professional experience enjoyed by the new president and members of the Board of Directors that qualify them to improve the work of the association during the next stage, expressing his appreciation to the previous board of directors for his sincere efforts that contributed to the development of the association’s work and support for the Bahraini press.
The Minister of Information affirmed the ministry’s keenness to continue close and fruitful cooperation with the Bahraini Journalists Association, in a way that establishes its position as a responsible national platform, and enhances its mission in the service of media and journalistic work.
