Dr. Joudeh Ghanem, General Supervisor of Coordination at the Ministry of Higher Education, stated the details of the stage of reducing alienation for students of the first and second phases of coordination of admission to universities, stressing that this step comes with the aim of facilitating students and their parents, and is considered an opportunity to rearrange the future of students in a manner that is appropriate for their geographical conditions.
General Supervisor of Coordination: Reducing alienation is subject to 10% of the total places for each college
Dr. Ghanem pointed out, during televised statements, that the primary goal of reducing alienation is to help the student who was nominated for a college outside his geographical scope to transfer to a debate or unnecessary college in his province, explaining that this stage is available to students who have completed their coordination in the first and second phases.
Dr. Ghanem detailed the two qualities available to students to transfer to a debate college, where when the student wants to move from a college with the same specialty in a distant university to another college in the same specialty in a university closer to his place of residence, for example: from Sohag Medicine to Medicine in Cairo, and in this case, the student is not required to have a minimum admission to the college to which he wants to transfer.
He continued: The electronic system automatically nominates the student to the corresponding college, which has the lowest minimum in its geographical scope, and secondly the transfer to an unresponsive college where it occurs when the student wants to change his entire course, for example: from the Medical College to the College of Dentistry, and in this case, it is required that the student be the minimum admission to the college to which he wants to transfer.
Dr. Ghanem stressed that the process of reducing alienation is subject to a specific percentage, which is only 10% of the total places prescribed for each college, explaining that if a greater number of available percentage is applied, the higher students will be chosen total, stressing that the application to reduce alienation is completely electronic through the official coordination site, and there is no paper presentation at this stage.
